Shine classes are lively, interactive, pre-recorded audio only lectures that provide practical insight, education, and application for anti-racism.

The Shine Class Library is a Multi-Course Inclusion for Members. The shine classes included are listed below:

    The common fears that white people have about race and how to deal with them. In this class, Monique Melton, will explore the common fears that white people have about talking about racism. She will share practical strategies and insight on how to deal with these fears and how to stay aligned with anti-racism.

    This is a comprehensive learning experience to explore white feminism, examining its history, impact, and the process of moving away from it, especially during the presidential election season and beyond. This course is an extension of the class.

    Let's center Black love in a lively and beautiful conversation with Monique and her husband Chris Melton of 15 years on all things love, sex, relationships and more

  • Unpacking the Intersection of Race & Diet Culture

    Let's unpack the multiple ways that diet culture harms us, especially Black women and let's do the work to dismantle it. This class is offered as a panel discussion so definitely make sure to join us and see what these guest speakers have to say.

  • Critical Conversations about Race, Gender and Sexuality

    In this engaging panel discussion with BIPOC guests of the LGBTQ community, Monique Melton will facilitate an important and critical conversation regarding the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality. Each of the guest will have an opportunity to share their personal perspectives and experiences to bring awareness to issues and challenges they face and they will offer specific ways in which we can work to bring about necessary change. This is extra special panel because of the guest and because every bit of the money collected from this live panel will be donated equally across four different organization that each of the guest panelist have chosen. And all sales from the replay of this class will go to a selected organization that supports LBGTQ youth and/or trans community.
